How To Remove A Stain From The Floor

1.    General stain removal for Vinyl Floors


As a general suggestion, if specific manufacturer’s instructions are unavailable, soiled spots, and clean on vinyl floors with the mildest substances first and work up from there.
Materials 

    Soft cloth
    Ammonia
    Water
    Soft bristled nylon brush
    Dish-washing liquid

Instructions

1.    Mix dish washing liquid with water.
2.    Apply this solution to the stain and rub with a sponge.
3.    Dry thoroughly.
4.    Mix 1 tablespoon of ammonia onto the spot and leave it for 10 minutes.
5.    Pour a small amount of the ammonia mixture onto the spot and leave undistributed for 10 minutes.
6.    Rinse well with water and dry.
7.    If the stain remains, increase the ratio of ammonia to water by half and repeat.


2. Removing scuff marks from vinyl floors

 

Black heel and furniture scuff marks are the most common stains that mark vinyl floors. They resist most normal cleaning solutions but come right up with the right product.
Materials
    Soft cloth
    Water
    Denatured alcohol or lighter fluid

Instructions


1.    Put a soft cloth in denatured alcohol.
2.    Rub the cloth onto the mark.
3.    Rinse with water and dry.

3. Removing food stains from vinyl floors


Foods like wine, fruit juice, and tomato sauce can leave stubborn stains on a vinyl floor that can be hard to remove. With the help of these materials, you can easily remove the stains.
Materials

    Water
    Cloth
    Bleach 

Instructions:


1.    Mix bleach and water together.
2.    Soak a cloth in the solution and place the soaked cloth on top of the stain.
3.    Leave the cloth in place undisturbed for 1 hour to let the bleach soak into the stain and lighten it.
4.    Rinse the stain well with water and dry.
